Our largest cars

Our 7 and 8 seater vehicles are the biggest cars we run. They are for the trips where a 6 seater would be a squeeze: seven or eight people travelling together, or a smaller group with a lot of luggage, such as long holidays, ski trips or students moving to university.

Choosing one large vehicle over two smaller cars keeps your group together. Everyone leaves at the same time and arrives at the same time, which matters most at an airport, where splitting a group across two cars can mean one half waiting at the terminal for the other.

Who books a 7 or 8 seater

• Large families with grandparents, children and holiday luggage
• Groups of friends heading to a wedding, a festival or a weekend away
• Business teams travelling to a conference, a client site or an airport
• Sports teams and clubs going to a match or tournament
• Students and parents moving belongings at the start or end of term

Luggage space

As a guide, a 7 or 8 seater can carry its full number of passengers with luggage, and with fewer passengers on board there is room for a lot more. Ski bags, golf bags, bikes in bags and pushchairs can often fit too, but please tell us about them when you book. If your luggage will not fit safely, we will tell you before the day, not on the kerb.

Long-distance and airport trips

Events and nights out

For an evening in Kingston, Richmond or central London, one large car with a booked return means nobody needs to drive. Groups often book us for weddings at hotels and venues around Esher and Hampton, and race days at Sandown Park and Epsom.

Planning a group pick-up

If your group is coming from more than one address, tell us all the pick-up points when you book. We will plan the order and timing, and your fare will reflect the stops. Make sure everyone knows the pick-up time, as one late passenger can hold up the whole group. For airport returns, give us the flight number of the person whose flight lands last, or call us if your group arrives on different flights.

How to book a 7 or 8 seater

Choose the large vehicle option in the booking form or call us on 020 8390 5395. The fare is shown before you confirm and is fixed for the journey as booked. Large vehicles are limited, so book as early as you can for weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. If you are a smaller group, our 6 seater taxi may be a better fit.
